The big american platform Netflix is available since Wednesday 06/01/2016 in Romania. Romanian users can access Netflix, after they sign up and subscribe, on https://www.netflix.com/ro/  Also, Netflix grant them one free month, after they make an account.

After this one month trial, the Netflix romanian users can choose between three types of subscriptions. First is Basic and it costs 7.99 euros/month, which allows content viewing on a single screen. The other two subscriptions are Standard ( 9.99 euros/month, allows HD viewing and using two screens simultaneously ) and Premium ( 11.99 euros/month, allows Ultra HD viewing and using three screens simultaneously at the same time ).

Among the available productions, Netflix offers  “Dexter”, “Arrow”, “Spartacus”, “Better Call Saul”, “Hannibal” etc. Netflix romanian launching is a part of a big campaign strategy of this american video platform.Currently, Netflix is available on almost 70 countries. In October 2015, Netflix reported nearly 70 million subscribers worldwide, more than 43 million included in US.

Among the big names in American entertainment industry who have concluded contracts with Netflix include actress and director Angelina Jolie and actors Adam Sandler, Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark and Jay Duplass.
