If you’re already a THCServers.com client, you know by now that we’ve struggled to keep our services affordable, while not compromising on quality. All our shared hosting plans come with cPanel access and are easy to manage.

This year we have been working on updating our servers, in order to provide you with the best hosting experience. That being said, our shared web hosting plans have also suffered changes. With the cPanel license costs increasing year by year we found ourselves not being able to keep the prices as low as we have been for the last years. But, unlike other companies, our changes in pricing also reflect on the resources we’re offering. That means even though you’ll be paying a few dollars more, you’ll also benefit from increased resource allocation.

All our new shared hosting plans are on secure updated servers, with BitNinja installed. This detects suspicious IPs and malicious files. That drastically lowers the chances of your website being injected with malware or be down from an attack.

We’re also constantly working on updating the servers. You can be sure that if there’s an important update to be made, we’ll do it.

You also have all the available PHP versions in cPanel. You can easily change them as needed for your domains. You can also quickly adjust your php limits from cPanel, making this feature great for any client!

We also have Softaculous and an easy to use website builder. This means you can create your website without needing any coding skills. And still, your website will look professional.

You’ll never have to worry about recovering your files, in case you need it. We run automated daily backups on all our shared hosting servers. It’s done once every day, and we keep the backups stored on external servers – just like a great host does! You’ll also be able to find this feature in your cPanel, under JetBackup.

Free SSL Certificates are available for all the domains that directly point to our servers. Yes, that is correct. If you have a domain that is pointing to our servers, then it’s covered by SSL. The SSL Certificate is automatically provisioned in a few hours after the domain resolves to our servers.

We also have a 30 days money back guarantee. We doubt you’ll ever need to use it, but it’s there just for your comfort. So, if you feel that our services to not fit your requirements, you can ask for your money back within 30 days after you made the purchase. We’ll refund you back, no questions asked. Please make sure to read our refund policy posted on the website.

Comparing old shared hosting plans with the new plans

Our previous 4 shared web hosting plans have retired. They were growing old and obsolete and struggled when your website had higher visits. We would sometimes increase these resources free of cost, just so that you would be happy with the performance. But let’s be honest, not even our largest plan could accommodate your needs now. Why? Because your business is thriving and we want to make sure your website doesn’t crash when you’re running those advertising campaigns or installing those plugins.

So, now we have come up with 4 different shared web hosting plans, that will surely handle your website. From our Geek plan, designed to host a star-up website with lower traffic, to Freak plan that will handle a higher number of visitors at the same time, you can upgrade and downgrade anytime, as your needs grow or lower.

Old Geek plan vs. New Geek plan

Our Geek web hosting plan has remained much the same, suited for clients that are just staring off. It might best fit clients that are using the website just for an online presence, like a portfolio or company description. It’s still our cheapest plan available, but you’ll still benefit from our legendary support and updated shared servers.

Old Geek plan 2GB – CPU 40%, virtual memory 1.5GB, Physical memory 1.5GB, Entry processes 40, Number of processes 60, Disk Speed 1MB/s
New Geek plan 2GB- CPU 50%, virtual memory 1GB, Physical memory 1GB, Entry processes 40, Number of processes 60, Disk Speed 2MB/s

So, if you’re not expecting any large volume in visits and your website is designed in a simple manner (not consuming many resources – usually due to a high number of scripts installed), then you should definitely opt in for this plan. Don’t worry, as you business begins to grow, you can always upgrade to the next plan and you’ll only be paying the difference in pricing.

Old Nerd plan vs. New Nerd plan

The Nerd plan is dedicated to those customers that have multiple websites (up to 5) and would like to manage them from the same cPanel. Easy interface, doesn’t take much time to login and manage them. Instead of constantly logging in and out of a cPanel, with this plan you’ll be able to handle them all in one place.
As for the resources, those have slightly been increased in the new Nerd plan, offering a higher CPU percentage and I/O

Old Nerd plan 10GB – CPU 50%, virtual memory 2GB, Physical memory 2GB, Entry processes 50, Number of processes 70, Disk Speed 2MB/s
New Nerd plan 10 GB – CPU 70%, virtual memory 2GB, Physical memory 2GB, Entry processes 50, Number of processes 70, Disk Speed 4MB/s

Old Freek plan vs. New Techie plan

Yes, we’ve changed the name for this one. Although since we created this plan only one customer ever asked us why it’s Freek and not Freak. For all of those that were wondering, it was a marketing strategy and we’ll not get into that now.
The old Freek plan had lower CPU percentage assigned and lower I/O. Those plans were also created on servers running on older operating systems that were obsolete. Now, all our shared hosting plans are up and running on updated servers, with updated software and OS. That means a higher security and a higher speed in loading.

The new Techie plan can host up to 10 websites under the same cPanel. Its resources will be spread out to the entire websites, as needed. You need to know that you’ll always be able to see the resources being used in real time, from cPanel. So if you’re seeing that your account is topping the resources often, you can always upgrade to the next plan. The upgrade is done instantly, once the associated invoice is paid. Neat, right?

Old Freek plan 25GB – Cpu 60%, virtual memory 3GB, Physical memory 3GB, Entry processes 60, Number of processes 80, Disk Speed 3MB/s
New Techie plan – CPU 90%, virtual memory 3GB, Physical memory 3GB, Entry processes 60, Number of processes 80, Disk Speed 6MB/s

Old Ultimate plan vs. New Freak plan

This is as far as you can go with our shared web hosting plans. Everything that goes beyond a Freak plan should be hosted on a VPS or Dedicated Server. Or, why not, on a Reseller plan.
With the new Freak plan, you have a higher CPU assigned to your hosting plan and a higher I/O. On this web hosting plan you will also be able to host up to 50 domains, and park the same amount of domains. And 100 email addresses will surely suffice, don’t you think?

Below is the comparison for resources used in the old and new hosting plan.

Ultimate plan 120GB – Cpu 80%, virtual memory 4GB, Physical memory 4GB, Entry processes 80, Number of processes 100, Disk Speed 4MB/s
Freak plan 100GB – CPU 110%, virtual memory 4GB, Physical memory 4GB, Entry processes 80, Number of processes 100, Disk Speed 8MB/s
